Smidgen spent her morning walking around sideways with her back arched and her fur standing on end. She accompanied this performance with the oddest sounds to ever come out of a feline's mouth.

Perhaps she's possessed. Do priests perform exorcisms on funky manx kittens?

years ago my (then) boyfriend and I shared a garrett apartment with another couple and five - yes I said FIVE cats.
One cat was named ZapCat.
He used to put on a performance similar to Smidgen.
Out of nowhere he'd arch his back and dance along the floor sideways
hair all stricking out crazy, ears laid back against his head
eyes wide and staring at something only he could see.
It was bizarre....but entertaining!

we have a kitten that we aptly named Tribble. For you trekies out there, when she is excited or hunting something, her war cry is the high pitched trill that angry tribbles make. She doesnt cry or meow, she just trills, like an alien... It is truly the strangest thins i have ever heard...
