What the hell is LJ celebrity and why would anyone care enough to want it?

I've only seen that phrase used once, only in reference to shadesong and mainly with a derogatory tone. I'm suspecting it's someone's way of claiming or assigning 15 meaningless internet minutes of "fame".

Way too much drama and energy are dedicated to maintaining or tearing down such a shaky institution.

Well, it's not even really "fame". Notoriety, perhaps, or high visibility, but not "fame". And no one BUT NO ONE who isn't an internet junkie or addict of some sort will ever care about any degree of such "fame". So it's not really fame at all. Stupid humans.

It collapsed pretty quickly.
