How difficult would it be to fingerprint Sauron? On the other hand, how easy would it be for him to have a retina scan? If he needed glasses, would he wear a monacle and, if so, how could he keep it on? Perhaps one really big contact lens would be more logical....if it wasn't seared away by that fiery cornea of his.

Why is it I can barely bump an appendage and end up with a bruise that looks like something seen in a domestic violence movie, but I can almost break my head off from extreme impact and the area has absolutely no discolouration whatsoever?

What is that "BONG BONG" sound on Law and Order, who wrote it, and who decided to use it on every series of the franchise?

Why is it that, the older Bobby Brown gets, the more gaps there are in his teeth? In the 80's, he had pretty good looking fangs. Now he has tinker teeth. Is it the crack?

Why is Bob Saget is so hated? I don't care either way, but he seems to inspire an unseemly amount of ill will in many people.

Why is this so disturbing?

Why do so many people have a revulsion to rats, yet love squirrels? Squirrels are just rats with fluffy tails.

Why do the cartoon characters of the 40s and 50s (like Bugs Bunny) have to be drawn "shiny" now? Who thought it would be a good idea to polish these beloved characters? It doesn't give them that much more dimension, but it sure as hell does a number on my irritation gauge.

It's been 30 years since I saw thundersnow for my first and, so far, only time. I wonder if I'll ever get to experience that again.

When a person rubs her/his eyes, how many eyelash critters are they killing and do the critters consider such activity an apocalypse?

Why do Virgos always get boring horoscopes and have the reputation of being so anal retentive, we can't sit down for fear of sucking up the furniture?

Who was that masked man?

Isn't that the second time you've posted that nightmare of a picture in your journal?

What is that "BONG BONG" sound
I'm not sure if we're thinking of the same thing because all that comes to moo mind right now is a string-plucking kinda sound, or maybe not plucking, but bouncing the bow off the strings. Viola, maybe.

Squirrels are just rats with fluffy tails
I think you'll find squirrels have furry paws, and rats only have furry ankles. Maybe it's the naked ratty tails that scare people off? (Trivia: what do dogs' tongues and rats' tails have in common?)

do the critters consider such activity an apocalypse?
*rfl*

I love this post.
You are a genius.
Thanks for sharing all this. "-)
Myst

the bong bong at the end of law and order is supposed to be a gavel being used by a judge. i have never actually heard the sound in person, so can't say for sure.

Me a genius? :: shoots a Twizzler through her nose :: bloody hardly!

A judges gavel doesn't sound anything like that. Maybe it's an artistic representation or sommat? Dunno....I want to know though!

It's a thunderstorm with snow instead of rain and it's the damnedest thing I've ever experienced.

I was grown before I saw/heard my first thundersnow, and thought the world was ending. It happens a little more often in UK -- I've experienced 4 or 5 in the twenty years I've lived here. (On the other hand, they simply **do not ever** get icestorms. What *I* wonder about is, why is that?)
