Smidgen and Shmoop have become almost instant pals. They run about the house playing and tussling, and meowing at each other. And today, they shared a food bowl. That's bloody momentous for cats that have known each other only a week. Sweet Pea and Granny, the Father and Stepmother Units' cats, are still trying to adjust to each other after months of living in the same house. I'm completely amazed and grateful.
Smidge is getting a little rough with Shmoop, but she backs off when Shmoop yells out. It's like she knows she can only go so far and really doesn't intend to hurt the baby. She's just playing.
Right now Smidgen is outside terrorising the neighbourhood and Shmoop is in her pen taking a long overdue nap. I, like Depeche Mode, am enjoying the silence.

No, seriously, he came that way. If I remember correctly he was the runt and got attacked by his siblings. :P I miss the little plastic ball we had that he'd run around the apartment in. Vrooom. :~(

And people are people, so why should it be, that you and I should get along so awfully?
