JRR Tolkien and the Elvish languages
Jan. 3rd, 2012 12:13 pmTolkien channeled something profoundly ancient when he committed to paper the Elvish languages. To hear him speak it only affirms my belief that he tapped into something mightier than anything this Age could imagine. We have lost something of ourselves. JRR Tolkien found it and, perhaps more than any other person in our brief human history, he provided us a road upon which we might journey into the collective consciousness and find therein the numinous beings who nurtured us before passing on...into the West.
