Day 2: A Song that Makes You Cry

I think that the combination of hopelessness in the song combined with the hopeless quest on which the steward sent his son strikes me every time. And it's a Scotsman singing the song in a capella. I adore this song and it brings tears to my eyes every time. Here are the lyrics, written by Billy Boyd.

Yeah, it just grabs my heart and squeezes uncontrollably. It actually made a cameo in the Faust story (which will probably have to be removed for copyright reasons). This song has serious tearjerking ability. And I'm not usually a crier.
