Space Madness
Sep. 9th, 2010 07:23 amSo I was having bad dreams and decided being up and awake was preferable to being down and asleep, and subject to the dreadful whimsy of the slumbering brain. I can't remember any of the dreams in detail, but I can say that the last dream involved large bugs, electric cords, and needles. David Cronenberg would be so proud of me. So here I am awake, with a toothache, and a brain that can best be described as disturbed. Perhaps I should proof more of The Augury of Gideon. Or maybe not. The first book isn't even out yet and I'm fretting over the third installment of The Vampire Relics. It's probably one of many off-center Virgo traits.
I'm thinking of watching some television, or maybe a video or two. Ren and Stimpy would be a good choice for this early in the morning. I rather feel like Ren Hoek as it is, desperate for some peace, but unable to attain it because of the madness not only all around me, but also percolating in my own rotting, moldy brain. Instead of a beloved ice cream bar, I have beloved Cheerwine sherbet...how I love to nibble its frozen peripheries. nom nom nom <_<
