The Plague
Mar. 2nd, 2004 08:12 amWell, Steph is relapsing with The Plague and must return to the doctor today, so Aunt Tudi and I are on our own in Asheville. Steph sounded horrible last night. I really feel for her since I went through the same thing just recently. In fact, I know a lot of people who've had to take double rounds of everything in order to get rid of whatever this skank is, and they're still coughing their heads off, myself included.
I think it's the poisons the big corporations are allowed to pump into our atmosphere....y'know the crap we all breathe and get sick from but is protected by the convenient diversion of Second Hand Smoke. ::cue dramatic incidental music here::
Nothing like a good scapegoat, like a few hundreds of thousands of smokers, to cover up the fact that you're making money by destroying the atmosphere. Ain't Capitalism grand?
It's almost time to rouse Aunt Tudi. We're leaving a little later than expected it seems.
