The expression number for my Craft Name is pretty spot-on. I'm both impressed and amused.

Your Expression Number is 4
Practical and down to earth - everything in your life is organized.
You are a great writer and teacher. You never forget a detail.
Very patient, you have the ability to cultivate talents in difficult fields.

You also tend to have an artistic side. You'd make a great architect or classical musician.
You face your responsibilities with a positive attitude - and you always get things done.
You are serious, sincere, honest, and faithful.

Sometimes your strong sense of responsibility leads to frustration.
You also tend to develop strong likes and dislikes, which border on dogmatism.
At you're worst, you can be a dominant disciplinarian.

Not too shabby.

I've already put my dibs in on one of the ELO CDs. I'm not a proud woman when it comes to ELO and Shriekback. I will go to any lengths to hear their music and collect their albums. They are my musical crack and I am their junkie. So mote it be.

I just wrote this to someone at RCA who asked if I was okay.

Was out with [Aunt Tudi] on Tuesday. She was possessed by Satan (stomach virus). He then moved on to me. After much head-spinning and speaking in tongues, I'm back in service thanks to the local priest and shot of phenergen (sp).

Hallelujah.

Yeah, so that's why I wasn't around yesterday.

We have designations on our account charge orders here in The Pit. The person ordering items is supposed to mark the designation of their choice and order accordingly. For instance, a POP order would be for posters with selection numbers like J151885PF1 (Mario poster-flat) and a Promo order would be for a CD sampler with selection numbers like JCD60737-2. Simple, right?

Apparently not.

Some people want to order Promo product as a POP item. They are under the mistaken impression that anything having to do with promo is POP (Point of Purchase) and can be ordered indiscriminately without regard for rules or regulations. Not so, morons!

The Feudal Mistress just came across someone like this and came out to bemoan her woes to me. I told her my secret of dumbing down the guidelines so these knuckledraggers would understand the words that were coming outta my mouth.

Rule of Thumb: If you can put it in a machine and music subsequently can be heard, what you have is not a POP item; rather, it is a promo item and has to be ordered as such. If it is made of paper or cardboard, cannot be played in a piece of electronic equipment, and is generally tacked onto a wall for display, you are then in possession of a POP item and should order this as such.

Never once have I had one drooler misunderstand this. I bade the Feudal Mistress go with god and sent her off to speak to this moron and explain the obviousness of it all.

I made this statement in a post dated 31 December, 2004, and I stand by it.

On another movie note, I want to state for the record that there will never be a decent Batman since Michael Keaton. Period. Film makers need not even attempt it any longer. Michael Keaton will always be Batman. No one, and I mean no one, can say "I'm Batman" like Michael Keaton. Get the fuck over it.

And I now add:
Every Batman movie that has been made without Michael Keaton should have credits that read

Batman played by not Michael Keaton

I'm sorry, but that's just how I feel. Now, I've heard nothing but good things about the new movie Batman Begins and I'm really keen on seeing the Martial Arts in the movie, but Michael Keaton isn't in it.....so I won't be seeing it.

Hell yes, it's narrow-minded of me. Hell no, I don't care!

I went to see the first Batman with an ungodly amount of pessimism on my shoulders. I didn't believe Mr. Mom could be Batman. I was wrong. I was so wrong. Wrong enough to become so faithful to Keaton's Batman, that I refuse to give into the entertainment industry's attempts to draw me into the Dark Knight's world again. Even Jim Carrey as The Riddler couldn't pull me away from the real Batman.

I'm sure Christian Bale makes a fine Bruce Wayne but, for my part, he can shove the Batmobile up his arse. He's not BATMAN. He never will be. Only Keaton. Forever and always, amen.

This just in(box).

I hope all is well with you. I know that Stephanie's code is LL-820-L, but I was told that I could use the others. Sorry for the incontinence.

Sometimes, I have to love my job because of things like this. I'm going to swallow my tongue now.

I'm going home to cut grass. It's now so hot and humid that the grass is in overdrive and needs mowing every 5 days instead of every 7 to 9 days. I'd prefer to suck down a cyanide pill, but there ain't none to be had.

Damn.
