So Barry finished the video for the ANAXATON6 song "JuJu Grid (Go Live)." This isn't even the best of the songs B and Mike Tournier have so far recorded for the EP, at least not in my opinion. I'm hoping he does a movie for "Bone Marauder." Anyway, here's the video for the first ANAXATON6 release. It's funky and full of life! Please to pass it on to everyone you know, especially folks who dig Shriekback and Fluke.

I've been working on this off and on all night.  I do shite like this when I can't sleep.  It passes the time, yes?  The print in the booklet is microscopic and I have an old ladeh's eyeballs.  But I think I finally did it with listening to the song (the vocals are extremely electronic, like Indrid Cold) combined with discerning the liner notes.

This is a video by Fluke. The song "Tosh" is from their album OTO, which features a special nod to Barry Andrews in the liner notes. The minute I heard this song, I thought "this song was written by Barry," because it features his signature style of writing "list" lyrics (like "The Reptiles and I" and "UnSong") that have fun with the English language. When I "confronted" him with my suspicions, he neither confirmed nor denied it but there's a version of the song on the CD single called "Shriekbackwash" which is a collaborative effort by Fluke and the Shrieks during the Naked Apes and Pondlife era. This version, "Tosh (Gosh)" isn't the one on OTO, which is superior to all the versions, save the "Shriekbackwash," but it's still damned snappy.



Another song I attribute to Barry is "Atom Bomb." Here's the video for that.



"Atom Bomb" can be found on the Risotto album, but I'd recommend OTO before any of their other albums because of Barry's constant presence on the whole album. But I've been known to be a tad biased when it comes to Barry Andrews.
